Cookie Policy

Last revised: 14 March 2026

This page describes how Spektra Digital Sdn. Bhd. uses cookies and similar browser storage on this website. We have kept our use deliberately minimal: this site works fully even if you reject everything optional.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text records placed in your browser by a website. Related technologies — such as localStorage — store similar data directly in the browser without sending it to a server on every request. We use the word “cookies” below to cover both.

2. What this site actually uses

Strictly necessary

  • PHP session cookie (name: PHPSESSID) — set when you open our contact form, and used solely to protect the form against forged submissions. It expires when you close your browser.
  • Consent record (localStorage key: spektraConsent) — remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so we don't ask you again on every page. It stays until you clear browser data or change your choice.

Analytics (optional, consent-based)

If you press Accept on the consent banner, we may enable privacy-respecting page-view measurement to understand which pages are useful. If you press Reject, no analytics run — simple as that. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used on this website under any setting.

3. Changing your mind

A small gear button sits in the lower-left corner of every page after you make a choice. Click it to reopen the banner and switch your answer whenever you like. You can also delete the stored choice through your browser's site-data settings, which will make the banner reappear on your next visit.

4. Controlling cookies in your browser

All modern browsers let you block or delete cookies globally or per site — look for “Site settings” or “Privacy” in your browser preferences. Blocking the strictly necessary session cookie will prevent the contact form from submitting, but the rest of the site will continue to work.

5. Questions

Anything unclear? Email [email protected] and a human will answer. Our broader data practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
